(Noblesville, IN) Rochester, Ind.-based Rochester Medical Implants (RMI), a manufacturer of high precision spinal and orthopedic implants and instruments, has decided to move its operations to the Noblesville Business Park, which is part of the Noblesville Corporate Campus.
Mayor John Ditslear told RMI President James Evans, “We welcome Rochester Medical Implants to the community and are optimistic that our cluster of Medical Device Developers and Manufacturers will continue to grow.”
Days earlier, the Indianapolis Business Journal including three Noblesville companies in its list of the 25 largest Indianapolis-area medical device and medical product developers. King Systems, manufacturer of anesthesia and respiratory care products ranked third with 400 full-time employees; Helmer, Inc. manufacturer and global distributor of products and processing for storing biologicals and blood, ranked seventh with 150 employees; and Therametric Technologies Inc., manufacturer of the FluoreCam dental instrument, Tarter Shield pet dental products and dental product testing, ranked 22nd with 12 employees.
RMI plans on opening its Noblesville location by October. It has 28 employees.
Mr. Evans said RMI chose to move to Noblesville due to its ability to attract needed talent and because of Noblesville’s proximity to key markets and customers.
