Hamilton County understands the value of ground-breaking technology. The county was named a winner in the 2011 Digital Counties Survey, which highlights innovation and achievement. This is the ninth year the Central Indiana county has won one of the awards, presented by the Center for Digital Government and
Government Technology. Hamilton County placed 10
th in the nation in the
250,000-499,999 population category. It was the only one of Indiana’s 92 counties to be named on the 2011 list in any population category. Read more
