Fishers ranks safest place to live
The Town of Fishers was named the safest city in the U.S. by CQ Press. This distinction is based on 2010 crime statistics of 405 cities. CQ Press noted that Fishers had a very low violent crime rate. The ranking includes all cities with at least 75,000 population that reported crime data to the FBI in 2010.

City of Carmel Recognized as 3CMA Savvy Awards Finalist for

Carmel IN- The City of Carmel is a finalist in the 2011 Savvy Awards competition presented by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) for its efforts in communicating with residents and businesses about the Keystone Parkway project. Carmel will find out which of the top three awards it won when it is officially announced at the annual 3CMA meeting in early September.

Rochester medical Implants Relocates to Noblesville
(Noblesville, IN)…Rochester, Ind.-based Rochester Medical Implants (RMI), a manufacturer of high precision spinal and orthopedic implants and instruments, has decided to move its operations to the Noblesville Business Park, which is part of the Noblesville Corporate Campus.

Marsh Building Scores Major New Tenant

Marsh Supermarkets is reoccuping part of its headquarters building and adding a 44,000 sublease with First Advantage. The employee-recruitment firm will bring 340 people to the facility while Marsh will add 130 new jobs in the building. The I-69 facility has approximately 18,000 sq. ft. remaining and available for lease. The jobs are coming from various locations in Indianapolis.

Carmel Schools Top 10 In U.S. for Housing Value

Forbes/GreatSchools has identified Carmel Clay Schools as a Top 10 district in the U.S. when measuring where your housing dollar goes the furthest. For communities where the median home value is between $200,000 and $399,000, Carmel schools ranked ninth in the U.S. It was the only Indiana school district to make the publication's Top 10 lists.
